About Us

"Our initial goal as a company was to produce delicious bread, made locally, by family."  We started as Magnolia Bread Company, baking and selling fresh bread.  We included a gluten free bread in the line that we had developed due to my daughter's wheat allergies and my own Celiac diagnosis. We began by researching various grains to better understand their properties in order to develop gluten free products that not only my family, but customers would enjoy.   ​      

 From the start, our gluten free products really struck a chord with our customers, and they began requesting other products.  With the goal of creating healthy gluten free foods with great texture and taste, we took the plunge and dove deep into gluten free baking.  

We began creating our own blends of gluten free flours, eventually leading the business away from baked breads to our own baking mixes.   

 Instead of buying dry, pre-baked gluten free products at the store, now people could simply bake a delicious, fresh gluten free product right in their own home!   ​ 

 Magnolia Mixes was born!
